I wanted to keep tabs and update more often as I have been working on this 100 days of happy project. It seems time slips away from me, and here I am more than half-way through (day 80) and I’ve only updated once. These things happen. With wedding season starting up, and spring photo sessions. This project has forced me (every day) to capture one image each day that makes me happy. As trivial as that may sound, it was difficult on many of these days, especially at the begining. During the winter I was faced with some personal challenges, and some professional ones as well. The questions that arose were ones I am sure all artists & freelancers ask themselves, “What am doing? Where is my work headed? “. What I have learned the most through this project, is that it is the things I have daily in my life; my dogs, a hot cup of coffee on a cold morning, the way the light will hit my kitchen as the time changes, my cozy bed. These things are the things that I took for granted before, and now am able to realize that daily, I am blessed with such simple beauty. The quietude that has filled these last 6 months has been good for this. The preservation of a moment, simple, sweet, and above all the love and happiness I have in my life.
