April showers + May flowers. Yes! Finally it is really starting to feel like spring in Connecticut. I have been waiting to be able to cut tiny bouquets for the house. The past few weeks has been filled with a lot of laboring in the garden, and spring clean-up. It is finally paying off. I’ve got violets, pansies, tulips, baby’s breath, Jacobs ladder, daffodils, hyacinth, bleeding hearts, and more is popping up before my eyes. Also, the grass was mowed for the first time this week. My favorite smell, fresh cut grass for that first time in the season. Totally delightful, and worth the wait.
