Just a quick and easy (no fail) recipe for kale chips. While the ingredients are limited, it took me a while to figure out how to make these w/o burning them to a crisp or undercooking them. So here is my no fail recipe for perfectly crispy kale chips every time.
a bunch of kale
Preheat oven to 300°F. Rinse and dry the kale, then remove the stems and tough center ribs. Cut into large pieces, toss with olive oil in a bowl then sprinkle with salt. Arrange leaves in a single layer on a large baking sheet (you can line with parchment for easy clean-up but there’s no reason that you must). Bake for 20 minutes, or until crisp. Place baking sheet on a rack to cool. These are highly addictive, and healthy, so no need to feel guilty about eating the whole tray.
