finding fall: thanksgiving natural table inspiration
I love finding inspiration from the outdoors, and bringing it indoors. When my sister and I were chatting the other day about ideas for a Thanksgiving table, we started scoping out Pinterest together on the phone. While we saw some things we liked, I kept telling my sister the idea I had, and she said, “I can’t find it”! So I decided to show her! All of the items here (with the exception of the candles, white pumpkins and the pears) were found. I scoped around outdoors and found these things:
bittersweet (here’s what it looks like in the wild)
The table “runner” is a burlap cloth, and atop of it sits an old distressed piece of barn wood I found in my parents barn (it was part of an old door). You could lay a cream or white tablecloth on top of the table if you wanted it more formal underneath the runner, however, doesn’t that gravy and red wine always seem to spill? So there you have it. I hope this gives you some good fall/thanksgiving inspiration. If you would like some more inspiration you can check out my curated board here.
