Miriam and Matt were married in Litchfield, Connecticut and I was thrilled when she called me up from New Mexico to say she was returning to her hometown (Bethlehem) to get married. It’s very rare that I actually get an out of state bride that grew up in the small town that I live in, so it was especially wonderful! They could not have picked a prettier day to get married. I love the teals and blues & greens that she picked for her bridesmaids dress’ (each got to pick from a color palette and chose whatever dress they wanted). The bright bouquets were such a punch of color! One of my favorite things to document is getting ready . There is such a strong sisterhood, and so many rituals. It was especially fun watching Miriam’s mom, four sisters, best friend, and nieces surround Miriam as she got ready . But what stood out the most was the love and friendship between Matt and Miriam. It was palpable, and radiated throughout the evening, in there first dance, toasts, and all the family and friends that flew from California to be near on the their big day. So honored to be able to share this one with you guys.
