And happy winter. As we are inching closer to the shortest day of the year. As the light wains and the house becomes filled with friends and family, I am wishing you lots of comfort and joy.

Happy winter, everyone! We’re inching closer to the shortest day of the year, and as the light dwindles and our homes fill with the warmth of friends and family, I’m wishing you heaps of comfort and joy.
I wanted to pop in and let you know how grateful I am for my clients—who often feel more like dear friends. It’s you who make every moment spent photographing weddings and families in Litchfield County and beyond so incredibly rewarding. And then there are the locals—the ones I bump into at our charming coffee shops, whose kids I get to watch grow up right before my eyes. Capturing those moments over the years means the world to me. I love working with you all, and I love getting to know each and every one of you.
Being part of a small community like Litchfield County is such a treasure. Sure, there are moments when I miss the hustle and bustle of NYC with all its conveniences, but I wouldn’t trade the connections I’ve made here for anything. From flower designers to planners, small shop owners, and those wonderful folks who keep our towns humming along—you’re all amazing.

Sending you a truckload of peace, calm, and fun as we navigate these times together.
Lots of love,
xx
Kate.
