Welcome 2022! Happy New Year and a few updates from Kate.
2021 was a really unbelievable year, and I am finally dusting off from too many weeks on vacation, doing nothing. Well, that is not entirely true, I have been behind the scenes , thinking about how I can make this year even better than last year.
My main goal, as always, is to serve my clients . I also want to make things continually challenging and fun for myself. In order to keep things fresh and new, I am constantly learning, taking on line classes, mentoring new photographer’s, and It pleases me to announce that I will officially be taking on a two mentors this year. If you or someone you know is looking for mentee, I am happy to announce that I will be offering a unique one-on-one course beginning in December. You can look forward to updates in a few weeks. As for my schedule, I am excited to start photographing families in the early Spring. This winter, I decided not to do indoor family lifestyle sessions, at least till further notice. With Covid surges, I want to be sure that all your kiddos are safe, and that is my top priority. I will start booking my regular outdoor sessions in April. Stay tuned, as I am making incredibly easy to sign up for a session, with my new booking system!
For the repeat clients, who love to have a family session every year, I will always consider you my priority, though I skipped a few in 2020, I more than made up for it in 2021, photographing over forty families! Some were friends, who’ve Ive grown to know over the years, and watched their families grow. And some were new clients, who I had the pleasure of meeting for the first time. I love my job so much, I know I say that ALL THE TIME, but it’s true!
As for wedding season in 2022, I am booked up for May, but still have availability in June-October, which is the busiest time for weddings in Connecticut. I can’t wait to fill up my calendar with Newly engaged, Connecticut couples, and meet the lovebirds who have already booked their wedding with me this year and next!
