Welcoming a new baby sister to the family! Capturing the moment with a family photo shoot in Roxbury Connecticut .
In July, This sweet family welcomed a new baby, expanding it to four. And I have to say I was pretty excited to capture these new sibling pictures. P was just three when I first took her newborn pictures, so I was equally excited to capture her sister’s baby pictures. Along with Captain the dog, and mom and dad.
Including your dog in the photo session (see previous post) is always a little tricky, but this dog is so well behaved now he knows just where to pose. I love that P and Captain have grown up together. It makes my heart happy. If you know me at all, you know I am a dog person.
Things of note: They remodeled their home recently and updated the nursery . The color pallet was so soft, and beautiful to shoot in, calming, and it let the kids really pop in their cute Liberty-like print dress’s. Don’t forget that if you are using a pretty pattern, that you should either match them, or tone it down on your end, to let the kids outfits shine. Simple jeans and shirt do that here. I can’t stress enough how much a background, as well as clothing can really make a photo session shine.
