A private backyard wedding, in Roxbury, Connecticut. A dreamy wedding, loaded with peonies, kisses and a lot of love.

Kendrick & Cristina Married in June, at her childhood home, in Roxbury Ct. It was a beautiful, intimate wedding, and they were surrounded by close family and friends. The backdrop was a stunning field and garden, with bountiful amounts of peonies and roses. I was so honored to be a part of this family wedding, anytime I have a chance to photograph a couple in the home they grew up in is very special. It lends itself to a familiar and warm ambiance, and a casual, yet elegant affair.

The wedding itself took place in the yard , aside apple tress. Officiated by the actor, and family friend, Jack Gilpin. Their first look was under an old apple tree, with a wooden swing, that Cristina played on growing up.

With Cristina’s attention for detail, and Kendrick’s restaurant background, the food and flowers, and everything in-between were beautiful . Not to mention that Cristina’s mother, an artist, drew all the table place cards *see above for the sweet forest themed tables). The entire wedding day went by in a flash, and ended with dancing in the barn, under paper lanterns.
