New Haven shoreline wedding

This New Haven Shoreline wedding was a breathtaking. From the bride’s creative personal touches, to the backdrop of Lighthouse Point.

New Haven shoreline wedding: The bride has family ties to Lighthouse point. Her grandfather would swim to the giant rock by Lighthouse Point, across the bay (see below for picture near the rocks he swam to). She also has always been a big fan of the musical, “Carousel ” . So it was only fitting that they got married at lighthouse point, with the classic antique carousel.

The rainy weather didn’t dampen the spirits too much. Everyone was so happy and excited that the day had finally come, that Kim (the bride) could hardly wait! Her adorable niece was dressed to the nines in her pink princess dress. And accompanied by her favorite stuffed animal at all times. The ceremony took place indoors, by the carousel because of the rain.

Kim is so talented, she not only did a lot of the decor, she also made this beautiful wedding cake. It is so simple, and so elegant. When I asked her if she had a theme going for her wedding, she said “I want it to be all my favorite things, ‘ Carousel ‘, the musical, disco, glitter and beautiful flowers”. She nailed it!
